My career highlights include being interviewed on Steve Adubato’s television show and then being one of his panelists. I was an awardee of The NJ Governor’s Recognition for Excellence in Teaching, and an Orton Gillingham Scholar with The Scottish Rite Learning Centers.


I represented the LWV of The Montclair Area at the UN, Commission on The Status of Women, (CSW67), March, 2023. I am a trained and experienced LWV Moderator focusing on School Board and political candidate debates and forums.



I believe integrity, honesty, and service are key to the well being of society.

Barbara began volunteering at LWV after a 40 year career as an attorney specializing in employment law. She was excited to get involved in LWV because as a Montclair resident for more than 30 years, she had always been impressed with its important and non-partisan voter education programs. 


Barbara has enjoyed facilitating the LWV’s Why Voting Matters programs for high school students. She has been a volunteer coach for various area high school mock trial teams over the years and believes deeply in educating young people in the importance of civic engagement. 


Barbara looks forward to working with the many talented people in LWV to help with voter outreach in this important election cycle.

Mary Rorke, a Brooklyn native, moved to Montclair in 1989. Before starting her family, she worked as

an electrical engineer in biomedical research. In addition to serving as the co-chair of the Social Justice

Committee,


Mary’s previous volunteer experience includes the NY Chapter of the Society of Women

Engineers, and various school, PTA and youth sports related roles.


Mary is passionate about women’s

rights, voter engagement and rights, and healthcare. In the role of Internal Communications chair,

Mary will strive to keep the membership informed of all upcoming events and issues.

I am a mom of two beautiful children in high school with one going off to college this Fall. 


I serve on a number of committees in my town as well as with the Verona C.H.I.L.D. Organization for children with learning differences. This past year I was nominated to serve a two year term on the Verona NTSC (National Transportation & Safety) Committee.


I am an active financial member of the Montclair Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I serve as the Fundraising Chair, as well as on a number of committees with our community initiatives centered around the Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.

Lives In Cedar Grove with husband Michael, where I was active in scouts and my church. Mom of 2 and Grandma of 3


I had a 41 year nursing career working in local hospitals before retiring 2018 from Seton Hall University after serving an university nurse.


I became a poll worker and joined the League of Women Voters when I retired, working with Voter Registration and Youth Voter Services I am also a volunteer with Moms Demand Action and Be Smart for kids.



Voted at the age 18 over just 50 yrs ago, voting ever since.

Amy McCampbell

Amy McCampbell is a realtor in and active member of her West Orange community. As part of the West Orange Downtown Alliance team, she helps share information and news about the business district on their social media accounts.


She has held Executive Board positions on several PTAs, is a part of the West Orange Women's Club and a Trustee on the West Orange Scholarship Fund. Her goal is always to build connections between people and their communities... and what better way than to encourage civic engagement through the League of Women Voters.

Barry Ehrlich

Barry Ehrlich started his career as a Legal Services attorney in South Carolina, working on issues of educational equity and access. Wanting to collaborate with young people in their quest for social justice, he became a public school history teacher in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Barry then became a school leader, serving as a both a high school Principal and K-12 Curriculum Coordinator at schools in Massachusetts and New York. 


He moved to Montclair six year ago, and has been working as a school consultant for Engaging Schools -  a nonprofit organization that collaborates with educators to create equity-centered learning communities.


Barry has been working with the LWV to develop and refine the Why Voting Matters curriculum, and is excited to be collaborating with many talented people to expand its scope and reach.

Ann Moore

Ann began volunteering with the LWV in 2019 after retiring from a career in real estate management. Ann has worked as Co-Chair of the Voter Registration committee and is now responsible for managing the League's website.


Ann has volunteered as a Literacy tutor, working with adults to improve their English speaking skills and to prepare them for the US citizenship test.


She is committed to to promoting easy access to voting information and is a firm believer in the role the LWV plays in advocating for bi-partisan discussions of all election issues.


Ann has a BA in History from Marymount College and a Masters in Public Administration from New York University.
